Free Web Text: The Physics Classroom by Glenbrook Objective: To provide non-science oriented students with a clear and logical presentation of basic concepts and principles of Physics. Emphasis is placed on applications in the field of Nursing. This course assumes no previous knowledge of Physics. The mathematics required consists of arithmetic and simple algebra. Bring text and notebooks to class, and let's take a look at the world that we live in! |

Suggestions : 1. Do all assigned reading prior to class (be prepared) and try to complete the assigned problems as soon as you can following class. 2. Try to work on Physics a little each day . 3. Memorize the rules as we study them ( you will not have a book or "cheat sheets" to use as a reference during exams). 4. Please - don't be afraid to ask questions - make the most out your time in class. *Extra credit projects are possible for grade C or better Science Toys |
